Unboxing CALIFORNIA: What Is It Really Like Living in CALIFORNIA?

What’s it like living in California? Well, you have about 8 different regions in the state, and each one is completely different from one another.

Are the stereotypes of California true? Probably. This video uncovers everything you need to know about living in California.

We talk about the sports, weather, cost of living, food, politics and what people in California need to afford to live here. Also covered are some California stereotypes.

In the end, you’ll wonder why people like California so much, and understand why people are leaving the Golden State in droves.

Our goal is to combine recent data, fun videos, and thoughts about local culture into bite-sized snacks of shareable information. We call it bite-sized regional infotainment. We try to paint a picture of what’s happening in a region based on “Friday Night Science” — how’d you argue at a bar. To do that, we gather data from around the web to help determine a wide array of factors about where you live, things like safety, desirability, and culture.

We have another channel, too, which has other cool videos. Subscribe to it too!

  1. I thought I wanted to see what kind of a job you do unboxing ink Cali , since you said you are from Cali . But dude You failed with honer , no more YouTube for you.

  2. Funny thing, a lot of people tell me they really like California and a lot of people tell me they don't. I only visited a few times in my life, I enjoyed it but haven't been there enough so idk.

  3. Indeed, Cal/Nevada ppl are Extremely shallow and between the 2 are Flake/Ghost capital of the world.. couldn't keep their word if it meant saving their own lifes. pathetic a ss ppl there

  4. One of the thing I missed about southern California when I moved out that sort of surprised me was the Mexican food, ACTUAL Mexicans, mountains, In n out and how close everything was.

  5. I’m afraid to go there it’s anti gun and they let criminals use guns and also it’s dangerous and has lots of traffic and corruption. But they do have good places and beautiful beaches.

  6. You're so right about Oakland. We visited San Francisco for a week, drove over to Oakland to check it out and saw Pookie n dem' boyz in every corner. GTH outta there!

  7. Not all illegals that cross the border are from .Mexico, they are from other countries like El Salvador ,Honduras, Nicaragua etc. etc. so stop saying there all Mexicans just because they speak Spanish.

  8. From 1994 to 2021, at least 1,400 people from Latin America move to California every day. That's not including the ones who don't get caught coming here illegaly.

  9. As a trucker who has visited both northern and Southern California i can say i actually prefer the more hustle bustle of the area around LA. Much more entertainment than around Sacramento
